Privacy Policy

Dreams Lab is a brand of The Dreams LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Colorado, United States. This policy explains how we handle information when you use Photos Cleanup: Swipe Organize, MCP Server for Safari, or Web Dev Tools: CSS & Tags, visit our website, or contact us. The Dreams LLC is responsible for the personal information it processes.

The short version: Photos Cleanup organizes your photos on your device. MCP Server for Safari and Web Dev Tools run on your Mac inside Safari; what they read stays on your Mac, or goes only to the AI client you chose to connect. We do not receive your photo library, your browsing, or the pages you inspect, and we do not track your activity in our apps. If you email us, we receive the information you send. Visiting our website also involves the technical requests described below.

Our apps

Each of our apps does its work on your device. None of them has advertising, tracking, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs, and none sends app activity, your content, or your browsing to servers we operate. What each app touches, and where that information can go, is set out below.

Photos Cleanup

Photos Cleanup requests access to Apple Photos so you can review and organize your library. It uses the photos and related library information available through the permission you grant to display photos and carry out your choices, such as keeping, favoriting, hiding, adding to albums, or marking photos for deletion. Deletion requires your confirmation.

  • Photo processing happens on your device. We do not upload your photos, photo metadata, or sorting choices to servers operated by us or our service providers.
  • Your sorting choices are stored locally. We cannot access or retrieve your photo library or those choices.

You control photo access in your device's Settings. You can limit or revoke permission at any time; doing so may limit the app's ability to display or organize your library. Changes you make to your library and any Apple services you enable, such as iCloud Photos, remain subject to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.

MCP Server for Safari

MCP Server for Safari is a Mac app with a Safari extension. It runs a local server on your Mac that lets AI clients you choose, such as Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, or ChatGPT, use Safari through the Model Context Protocol. The server is off until you turn it on, and each tool a client asks to use needs your approval until you allow it.

  • A connected client can open pages, read page content, take screenshots, fill forms, run JavaScript, and read cookies, using the Safari sessions you are already signed in to. Anything a client reads is handed to that client, which may send it to its AI provider under that provider's privacy policy. Connect only clients you trust.
  • The connection between the client and Safari stays on your Mac. The app does not send your browsing, page content, cookies, or screenshots to us or to servers we operate.
  • Your settings, including which clients are connected and which tools you have allowed, are stored locally on your Mac.

You can turn the server off in the app at any time, which stops new requests, and you can disable the extension in Safari Settings. What a connected client does with information it has already received is governed by that client and its AI provider, not by us.

Web Dev Tools

Web Dev Tools is a Safari extension with a companion Mac app. On a page where you turn a tool on, the extension reads the page's content and styles to show fonts, spacing, colors, images, accessibility information, and analytics tags, and draws overlays on top of the page. It does not change the page.

  • Inspection happens in your browser. The extension does not send page content, addresses, or results to us or to servers we operate.
  • The Tags tool identifies analytics and marketing tags by matching requests on the page against patterns from the open-source Omnibug project, on your Mac.
  • The performance audit opens Google PageSpeed Insights for the page's address in a new tab. That is Google's service: Google receives the address you audit and processes it under Google's privacy policy.
  • Which tools are on is stored locally in extension storage.

You control which websites the extension can access in Safari Settings, and you can disable it there at any time.

When you contact support

If you email support@dreamslab.io, we receive your email address, any sender name, the contents of your message, and any attachments you choose to include. This may include device information, screenshots, or other details you provide about a problem.

We use this information to answer your questions, troubleshoot the issue you report, follow up on your request, and keep relevant support records. Our email service provider processes messages to deliver and store this correspondence. Please send only information needed for your request, and avoid sending private photos or sensitive information unnecessarily.

Providing support information is voluntary, but we may be unable to resolve a request without enough detail to understand it.

Website visits

When you visit our website, your browser sends technical information needed to request and deliver pages and files. This includes your IP address, the requested resource, and browser request information. Website hosting providers may keep technical logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot their services.

Our website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request those files, which gives Google your IP address and related request information. Google states that its Fonts Web API is not used to create end-user profiles or for advertising. See Google's explanation of Google Fonts privacy.

We do not add advertising trackers or visitor analytics to this website. Its code does not set cookies or use browser storage to track visitors.

Purchases and Apple services

App Store purchases and tips are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple processes purchase, payment, and any platform diagnostic information under its own policies and your Apple settings. Apple's store services may make sales or financial reports available to us for managing our business; these are separate from the on-device processing performed by our apps.

Why we use information

We use information only for the purposes described above: providing the features you request, responding to support inquiries, delivering and protecting the website, managing purchases and business records, and meeting legal obligations.

Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on the legal basis appropriate to the activity: performing our contract with you where processing is necessary to provide the service you request; our legitimate interests in answering inquiries, resolving problems, and operating secure services; and legal obligations for required records or disclosures. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You can separately revoke an app's permissions in Settings or in Safari Settings.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Sharing and international processing

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Providers that deliver our website and email services handle the information needed for those services. Google and Apple also process information as described above.

We may disclose information we actually hold when required by law or when necessary to establish or defend legal claims. If our business is reorganized or transferred, relevant business records, including support correspondence, may be transferred subject to applicable law. This does not give us access to photos stored on your device, to your browsing, or to pages you inspect in Safari.

We are based in the United States. Contacting us can involve processing your message in the United States, and service providers may process information in other countries. Privacy laws can differ between countries. Contact us for information about the providers handling your request and any applicable international-transfer safeguards.

How long information is kept

We do not retain a server-side copy of your photo library, sorting choices, browsing, or inspected pages. You manage your library through Apple Photos and your device settings; the Mac apps keep their settings locally and nothing on our side. Removing an app does not undo changes you have already confirmed in your photo library, and does not affect information an AI client already received through MCP Server for Safari.

We retain support correspondence only for as long as needed to resolve and follow up on the issue, maintain relevant support records, and meet applicable legal or dispute-resolution requirements. We consider whether the request is still active, whether the correspondence is needed for an ongoing issue, and whether a legal retention requirement applies. Information no longer needed is deleted; copies in provider backups may remain until those backups expire. Provider-managed technical logs follow the provider's retention practices.

You can ask us to delete support correspondence using the contact details below, subject to any lawful reason we need to retain it.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information we hold, correct it, request deletion, restrict its use, or receive it in a portable format. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Where applicable, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We do not carry out those activities. Global Privacy Control signals therefore do not need to change those practices. We do not use the older Do Not Track browser setting to change how the website operates.

To make a request, email support@dreamslab.io. No separate form or account is required. Tell us what you would like us to do; please do not send identity documents unless we request information needed to verify your request. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority, and will request only information reasonably necessary for that purpose.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension or reason we cannot fulfill a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Where you have a right to appeal a decision, email the same address with the subject "Privacy appeal."

You may also complain to your local privacy regulator. UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner's Office; EEA residents can contact their national data protection authority. These rights concern information we actually hold; we cannot retrieve or delete photos or browsing data from your device on your behalf, or information held by an AI client you connected.

Children's privacy

Our apps' on-device processing does not send children's photo libraries, browsing, or page content to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through support correspondence. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before new processing begins.
